Dear Earth Citizen, Welcome!
I am so excited to meet you here and start sharing many things and good news with you. There’s so much we can do right now to create a positive impact on the world!
We’ve heard, seen and felt countless times about the critical situation on earth and that change needs to happen. Maybe you can relate to feeling frustrated, not knowing what to do as these problems seem so much bigger than we are as individuals.
Hopefully I can inspire you in more than one way.
I’d like to start looking at the bigger picture. What do you think of when you hear of environmental problems? Most likely you'll think of air pollution, deforestation, climate change… But here’s the thing, although invisible, the real environmental problems are found in human consciousness.
The American environmental lawyer and advocate Gus Speth once said:
“I used to think that the top global environmental problems were biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse and climate change. I thought that with thirty years of good science we could address these problems, but I was wrong. The top environmental problems are selfishness, greed and apathy, and to deal with these we need a spiritual and cultural transformation and we scientists don’t know how to do that.”
That's why we are here. A fundamental solution to environmental problems is impossible unless there is a change in the consciousness of people. This means you have power as an individual.
The true power of an Earth Citizen is action power.
So with this movement we aim much more than gather all the awakened Earth Citizens and just sit there. Our aim is to raise the human consciousness together and take action based on this higher vibration.
Enlightenment, or awakening, is not a final destination. It is actually a very important starting point from where we can start creating the changes in our lives and our world that we aspire to.
But how…? Well, that’s what we will share and do right here. In some of the blog posts we will share information that will explain in more detail the pieces of the bigger picture of this movement, and in other blogs we will share exercises, meditations and activities to brighten ourselves and start raising our consciousness level with action power.
Imagine 100 million Earth Citizens with the clear goal of a bright healed earth. I my eyes, there’s no going back, there’s only forward, and the only option we have is achieve our vision! Let’s do it!
